Print Your Own Scene Inspired by Peggy Bacon
This workshop was created to accompany the show Peggy Bacon: Biting, Never Bitter at the Portland Museum of Art in 2024. Participants in this workshop were taught relief printmaking techniques in order to print their own scene inspired by the work of Peggy Bacon using stamps created by James. The stamps created for this workshop were inspired by themes often found in Peggy Bacon’s work, such as cats, art gallery scenery, and caricatures.
